Persian Kitty & Owner, One of “Those” People

Found a persian kitty that we thought was a stray last night as were going to get our mail (one of those community mail boxes around the corner from our house). It had matted up hair and seemed a little skinny. She looked kind of like this, the eyes were beautiful but she was a darker tortoise shell.
I took her to the local vet, but I would have had to make an appointment and soon left wanting to call around for cheaper vets. On the drive home I decided to stop by the house we first saw her at and found the owners. However, the owner was one of “those” people. “Those” meaning they dominate the conversation and don’t shut up. He said they were looking for a good home for the cat, it was obvious they were neglecting her. But he went on and on and on. Two warning flags came up in his one sided conversation, daily brushing and she has peed in their house. No can do on that. Not interested. It’s too bad that there are many neglected pets out there.
I also really don’t care for people who desire to fill the void 100% with their voice alone.
