Krismus Kat
May 12, 2008 - 5:01 pm
We have a cat that was named by a three year old, Krismus (I suppose it’s Christmas, but I like my spelling better). She is too smart for her own good and a little overweight. She talks to us and runs to the door to greet whoever is there. She also freaks with lots of meows while going to her cat bowl when it is under half full of food to let us know it needs to be filled.
Yesterday she did two peculiar things. First, she was in the kitchen near a vent underneath a cupboard and it looked like she was checking out some critter on the other side.
The second funny thing she did was later in the evening. She was laying on the living room carpet and shook her head, like a dog might when it’s wet. At the same time she meowed and it came out kind of garbled or “vibratey” like a sound effect you might hear in a cartoon.
We love our Krismus Kat. Sometimes we are fed up with the cat hair and scratching in the wrong places, but we’ll keep her and the other cat, Jedi, for now.
