Sunday, August 31st, 2008I was 12 when Tron premiered in the theaters. I loved it, ate it up like a young dork should. The Tron arcade game’s music is what’s dominant in my memories of going to the arcade back then. Kind of warm and fuzzy, those memories are.

Monday, August 25th, 2008I was impressed as a Led Zeppelin fan yet surprised to find out that Jimmy Page performed “Whole Lotta Love” at the closing ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics. Maybe Paul McCartney wanted too much $. Because one of the Beatles’ love songs would have seemed more appropriate.
